Liz Ferrer
Liz Ferrer works professionally with their collaborator Bow Ty Enterprises Venture Capital under the name LIZN’BOW. LIZN’BOW is an interdisciplinary artist duo whose collaborative practice merges performance, video, public art, music, and technology to create immersive works within their expanding Niñalandia universe, a pro-pocalyptic future where uncertain futures become conditions for adaptation, collective joy, and new ways of living together. LIZN’BOW constructs speculative environments that blur the line between fantasy and reality, spaces where cultural icons, pop media, and personal mythologies become one. Through a queer and comedic lens, their work transforms the language of American and Latin pop into sites of humor, resistance, and reinvention.
Their practice has been supported by Creative Capital, Times Square Arts, The Knight Foundation, The New England Foundation for the Arts, Perez Art Museum, Locust Projects, and numerous national organizations. Their work has been presented at museums, festivals, and public art venues throughout the United States and internationally. They have done dozens of residencies and fellowships including Macdowell, Headlands, and Ucross.
