Yehwan Song
Yehwan Song (she/her) is a New York–based artist working across installation, sculpture, robotics, and computational media. Her practice investigates how technological systems translate complex human behaviors into computable forms, and how those systems, in turn, reshape the ways people perceive, move, and act. Drawing from the histories of the internet, cybernetics, and computational infrastructures, she develops large-scale installations that materialize invisible processes such as circulation, feedback, and learning into physical and architectural systems. Rather than treating digital technologies as immaterial, her work examines their environmental, political, and spatial dimensions. Her work has been presented at the Helsinki Biennial, the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), Pioneer Works, the Museum of the Moving Image, Seoul Museum of Art, and Tate Britain. She is currently based in New York.
