Shuruq Tramontini

Shuruq Tramontini is a Creative Technical Artist and an Art Director based in Berlin. Her work is rooted in game engines and playful media, exploring speculative and immersive worlds that are often portrayed through unique character perspectives. With a multicultural upbringing, Shuruq’s practice blends game engines and emerging technologies to shape interactions and environments that explore the intersections of art, technology, ecology, and future possibilities. She has collaborated with notable artists such as Ian Cheng, Pierre Huyghe, Liam Young and Anne Imhof, as well as industry partners such as Xsolla or HBO. Previously, she taught at SCI-Arc’s Fiction and Entertainment program. She currently directs the Art Department at the game company Klang Games, working on the persistent MMO game SEED. Shuruq holds a MSC from SCI-Arc, Los Angeles, a MA from Staedelschule Frankfurt and a BSC from the Technical University of Vienna.
