Milica Zec

Named one of Adweek’s Top 100 Creatives, Milica directed and produced critically acclaimed cinematic VR experiences Giant and Tree. Giant relates the feeling of being trapped in an active warzone, while Tree allows audiences to see and feel deforestation first-hand in a multi-sensory experience, by transforming them into a rainforest tree using heat, scent, wind, and haptic feedback. These VR projects were screened to an estimated 130,000 viewers globally, from Sundance and Cannes Film Festival to World Economic Forum and TED, and over 150 other events. Awards include The Webby, Lumiere, Games for Change Award, and many others. Her projects have been written about in multiple outlets, including The New York Times, Forbes, Vanity Fair, Vice, and Wired. Milica worked closely with performance artist Marina Abramovic, including producing the video installations of the seminal “The Artist is Present” show at MoMA. Before joining The Sandbox as Head of Creative Strategy and Experiences, Milica worked as a Chief Metaverse Officer at InfiniteWorld.
