Lisa Jamhoury

Lisa Jamhoury is a Lebanese-American artist working across live performance, installation, and physical media. She creates cinematically rich, embodied experiences that recenter human agency in the digital age.

Drawing from contemporary circus, somatics, and experience design, Lisa brings embodied intelligence to her practice as a software programmer—treating technology itself as choreographic material. A specialist in motion capture, she translates the nuance of human movement into responsive digital environments where bodies and machines converse.

Lisa’s work has been recognized by Ars Electronica, IDFA DocLab, The Lumen Prize, Meta Open Arts, the Royal Shakespeare Company, SXSW, NEW INC, and more. Lisa speaks regularly on human agency, the ethics of human-machine interaction, and the future of embodied creativity in live performance and digital art. She teaches at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, where she completed her master’s, and previously worked at Adobe as a senior experience designer for AI in creative workflows.
