Gabriel Florenz

Gabriel Florenz is the Founding Artistic and Executive Director of Pioneer Works, renowned center for multidisciplinary innovation in Red Hook, Brooklyn. In 2012, Florenz helped establish Pioneer Works: overseeing renovation of its historic space, launching its nonprofit structure, and developing a multidisciplinary residency program. In this capacity, he has organized over 100 exhibitions, selected numerous commissions, overseen a wide array of performances, and led curatorial efforts across publishing projects and music. Florenz is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and championing programs that empower both emerging and established creatives.
